February 15, 2011

Scott Caron, of Lexington MA, shows Ask This Old House host
Kevin O’Connor a few devices designed to make residential
electrical systems safer.

Scott Caron, President of Caron Electric, Inc. Burlington, MA, will
be appearing on an upcoming episode of Ask This Old House.
Scott’s appearance will premiere nationally on PBS Thursday,
February 24th and locally Monday, February 28th on WGBH 44

The ninth season of Ask This Old House features some familiar
faces including Host Kevin O’Connor, General Contractor Tom
Silva, Plumbing and Heating Expert Richard Trethewey, and
Landscape Contractor Roger Cook. The Ask This Old House crew
offers practical tips and instruction to help homeowners with all
sorts of problems and projects around the home.

Scott’s connection to the show and his interest in what the local
guys were up to has been a constant in his life since childhood.
Growing up in Arlington, MA, Scott lived just down the street from
the This Old House Arlington Project featured in 1982; his interest
was piqued daily as he watched the transformation of the project
home.

“Watching the This Old House project transform before my eyes
helped solidify my interest in the renovation and construction
industries, and I became hooked on the show and the knowledge
and best practices it provides. The content and topics addressed
on Ask This Old House also help better educate me and my staff
in how tradespeople can collaborate with homeowners to best
meet their needs.” – Caron
